Independent SGS test reports
Shower Seal Testing & Compliance
Independent laboratory evidence for shower seals designed to stay clear, cleaner and reliable in everyday bathroom use.
Clear results buyers can review
The key findings are set out below in plain language, followed by the test method and report reference for technical review.
Clear Through 300 Hours of Xenon-Arc Exposure
The tested shower-seal specimens retained their clear appearance throughout the specified accelerated light-ageing exposure.
Test result: after 300 hours of ASTM G155-25 Cycle 6 xenon-arc exposure, the three tested specimens showed no cracking, powdering or yellowing. The maximum reported colour difference was 0.75, with zero gloss loss.
Grade 0 Against Fungal Growth
Two separate 28-day methods assessed the tested shower-seal samples against five fungi.
Test result: the tested samples received a fungal-growth rating of 0 under both ASTM G21 and ISO 846 Method A. No fungal growth was observed, and the ISO test recorded no measured change in mass.
Grade 0 Against Bacterial Growth
The tested shower-seal sample was assessed for resistance to bacterial growth over 28 days.
Test result: under ISO 846 Method C, the tested sample received a growth rating of 0, with no bacterial growth apparent under the microscope and no measured change in mass.
No Visible Damage from the Tested Cleaners
The test exposed a shower-seal sample to the specified bleach and glass cleaner under both covered and uncovered conditions.
Test result: after 16 hours of contact followed by 24 hours of conditioning, the tested sample showed no visible discolouration, cracking, deformation or surface fogging.
REACH SVHC Screening — Passed
The tested colourless transparent shower-seal material was screened to support EU buyer material-compliance review and supply-chain due diligence.
Test result: 250 substances on the ECHA Candidate List and six potential SVHCs were not detected below the applicable reporting limits in the tested sample. Both screening groups passed the report’s 0.1% w/w evaluation threshold.
Laboratory results apply to the samples identified in the cited reports. Full reports are available to qualified buyers on request.
